The Great Communicator – it could be you?


A great communicator is not someone who knows how to give a great speech, but someone who knows how to ask questions.


These famous words have been spoken by many. Recently I read it as a quote from Richard Branson, a man who knows a thing or two about communication.


What it really means is that if you want to get your message across, the best way is to you ask questions.


The reason for this is that by asking questions you make your listener think, then if you follow these questions with more penetrative ones, you not only making him or her think, but you are also controlling the conversation.


Now they are involved in a conversation, you are communicating, which means that you can now get your message across.


To make this work for you, you must make it a habit, you must do this all the time and slowly you will become a great communicator.


As with everything that successeds you must work at making it into a habit. You do this by working out a series of questions to which the answer can’t be a single word, yes or no.


Once you have these phrases you need to ask them on every available occasion, so they become, yes I will say it again, automatic, which means you come over very naturally.


Once you become a successful communicator you will be able to sell anything, more importantly, if you are a great communicator you will be able to sell with the right payment dates allowing you to have a great cash flow.
